Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there! Well, how's your Sunday so far mommies? I hope you all have a good day today as you celebrates the best career ever! Being a MOM!

Mother's Day is a day honoring mothers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers.
Different countries celebrate Mother's Day on various days of the year because the day has a number of different origins.

The history of Mother's Day is centuries old and goes back to the times of ancient Greeks, who held festivities to honor Rhea, the mother of the gods. The early Christians celebrated the Mother's festival on the fourth Sunday of Lent to honor Mary, the mother of Christ. Interestingly, later on a religious order stretched the holiday to include all mothers, and named it as the Mothering Sunday. The English colonists settled in America discontinued the tradition of Mothering Sunday because of lack of time. In 1872 Julia Ward Howe organized a day for mothers dedicated to peace. It is a landmark in the history of Mother's Day.
Slowly and gradually the Mother's day became very popular and gift giving activity increased. All this commercialization of the Mother's day infuriated Anna as she believed that the day's sentiment was being sacrificed at the expense of greed and profit.

Women's Tea Party

The Women's Tea Party, I attended last night was great. It was fun, though some of the women were there wasn't really closed to my age, so I thought probably there's only 2 or 3 of us were there. And some were just older womens. But anyhow, it was fun, I had a great time, spending it with my sister in laws and mother in law, aunts and some friends. We never went to this Church though, we're just being invited by my sister in law whom lived on that area of Marysville, Michigan. It was quite too far from us, approximately about 45 hours.

The party was good. We had so much fun, we had games, silent auction and more, of course, snacks! I got a candle from the auction and it was Vanilla.. hmmm....it has picture frame in it! Also, my sister in law gave us some little tea cups and saucer as a compliment for being at their party. It was so sweet of her! Also, it was a celebration of Mother's Day as well.

Summer Vacation

It's about three years ago when we had our vacation at the upper peninsula of Michigan. When we were there, we stayed at Roger City, Michigan. Also, during those 1 week vacation, we had the chance to visit the beautiful place of Mackinaw Island too. It was very wonderful place, especially the Mackinac bridge that some people always bragging about. Maybe this summer we can go back to Mackinaw Island, Michigan once again and of course, enjoy more of it. I guess, being there for only a week was not enough to visit that place. But hubby and I was looking forward to visit other place as well. Hopefully, we can go to another state if the United States. But I thought, what would it be like, if we just go out of the country? I am so eager to go to anywhere in the world, especially in Europe. Visiting another country would be a great family vacation. I heard about New Zealand too. I remember when I was still a child, I used to dream of going to New Zealand, since the milk product that we've been using is made from that country, and they were bragging about it. And so, being a little child, I really dreamed to visit New Zealand someday. Well, if I have given a chance to visit this place, I would be very glad to go.
